Biographical Summary of V.L. McCannV.L. McCann obtained her Bachelor's Degree with Honors in Creative Writing from the University of Washington in 1981. She spent the next 12 years as a military officer in the U.S. Army, polishing her writing and editing skills on organizational histories, regulations, and other formal documents, while working on her ongoing creative writing projects on her own time.Upon her release from active duty, she purchased Abbacy Resumes and Professional Writing and joined the Professional Association of Resume Writers (PARW). Shortly thereafter, she earned her credential as a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) through PARW. As a CPRW, she has written thousands of Resumes and numerous newspaper articles for job seekers ranging from entry level students to senior corporate executives. She has edited doctoral dissertations, master's theses, and full-length manuscripts. Most recently, under the name V.L. McCann, she has completed ghost writing a non-fiction book on tracking and written a historical novel.
