History
Abbacy Resumes the Write Way was founded in 1993 by
published author, Joe Fulda, who focused on providing quality, economical
Resumes to clientele in Tacoma, Lakewood, Fort Lewis, and McChord Air Force
Base. In 1997, Mr. Fulda retired from Resume writing to concentrate on
freelance writing and newspaper editing.
Abbacy was purchased by Veronica McCann, writer, owner of Veronica’s Writing
and Business Services, and former Army officer. The name was changed to
Abbacy Resumes & Professional Writing, and the company thereafter expanded
writing services to include editing, ghostwriting, and business writing of
all varieties.
In 1998, Abbacy became affiliated with the
Professional Association of Resume Writers to maintain contact with hundreds
of Resume writers worldwide and to remain current on industry trends and
requirements. After a three-day testing process in February 2000, Veronica
earned her credential as a Certified Professional Resume Writer, the
industry’s highest professional writing certification. Since that time,
Abbacy has expanded services even further to include interview coaching,
salary negotiation training, and Internet posting to become a full-service
career center.
Since its inception, Abbacy has maintained a
high client-referral rate and an unprecedented customer satisfaction rating
of 99 percent. It continues to focus on providing top-quality written
products for clients of all levels and backgrounds.

definition)—Based on the word “Abbot”.
A room set aside for scribes (writers).
Story behind the word:
In the Middle Ages, church clerics were the ones most likely to receive
